ROLLER COASTER RIDE

Hosta `Roller Coaster Ride', purple, 36-38", August-October. SMALL. Tissue culture sport of H.`Ray of Hope' with green-centered, white-margined foliage.(NOT streaked as its parent). BUT, incredible characteristics especially the denseness of the clumps and vigor! Heavily rippled and wavy leaf margins. Munds 6-8"high by 18"wide. Leaves narrow-lanced shaped, 6"long by 2.5"wide(3-5vp); slightly shiny both on top and underneath. Heavily flowered with open, narrow-petaled, spider-like flowers.(2005, M.Zilis & R.Solberg, introduced in 2006 during which we acquired stock at the convention)
