NANCY

Hosta `Nancy', lavender, 15-24", July-August. SMALL to mediumish. Mounds of bright gold foliage 11" high by 27"wide. Leaves 6.5"long by 2-3.5"wide(4-6vp); very shiny, very wavy, very rippled, very good substance. Very good hosta! Lightly cupped, ovate with a cordate base. This is a breathtaking gold when it emerges in spring. Notice from 150 feet away(how do I know, because that's how long our hoop houses are and as soon as people come in in March they go straight to her and she's gone!). Did I say this was a VERY GOOD hosta? Oh, yea. (2005,A.Tower)
