SQUASH CASSEROLE

Hosta `Squash Casserole', MEDIUM. Medium purple, 24", July. Mounds 19"high by 42"wide of ruffled, gold foliage with leaves 11.75"long by 7.5"wide(11-13vp); leaf blade oblong-ovate and smooth textured when young, slightly corrugated when mature; many slight marginal ripples; deeply veined; average substance.(1995, Tony Avent). Some good sports have come from this, `Jujen':chartreuse center,creamy yellow-margined leaves, `Key Lime Pie':green centered,gold-margined leaves, and `Yesterday's Memories':leaves gold-centered with a green margin.
