Hosat `Rich Uncle', white, 28", June-July. MEDIUM. Sport of `Abiqua Recluse'. Mounds 20"high by 45"wide of chartreuse foliage but I think looks more gold than not. Leaves 10"long by 7"wide(12vp); broadly ovate-shaped, slightly cupped, moderatle and some corrugated; very thick substance. All traits lead to being a very strong tetraploid hosta!(That's 3 time the chromosomes in case you're wondering about the mitosis?) If only I had 3 times the amount of cash for my nephews and nieces to inherit! But it's all good, if we ALL GET ALONG together ya can't ask for more.(2002,Alex Malloy)
