Hosta `Three Coins', lavender, 26-36", August-September. LARGE. Sport of `Green Fountain' from Leonard Jones. Another of his "gift plants" for our National Tour during the 2006 convention, and PIG ROAST! Differs from `Green Fountain' by its yellow to creamy white margin; mound size measured at one stop reached 19"high by 52"wide! with leaves 9 7/8"long by 3 3/4"wide(8vp); 1/4"wide margin; leaf blade elliptic-shaped with a moderate rippled margin and long, thin, curled tip; excellent substance. Very distinct! Leonard sent us his clump in June 2005. It's been a wowzer ever since! This is a great one for a new collector! Hard to find anywhere and then you're gonna pay a price just because they may be listed in the Hosta Finder as the only one having it available!!(2000, Leonard Jones, Advance,NC) Thanks Lenny!
