LUNAR LUNACY(OSx10!!)

Hosta `Lunar Lunacy', lavender, 22", July-August. Sport of `Lunar Eclipse' from Walter Cullerton from his Pineville, PA display garden. This differs from its parent in that the leaves are quite to very narrow and medium green centered. Thin white margins persist. Mounds 15:high by 28"wide. Leaves 8"long by 2 3/4"wide. 1/8"white margin. He thought of `Lunar Lunacy' at the time not aware that the is a H.`Lunacy' but hopefully NOT IN ANYONE'S GARDEN and escpeially not being divided or passed around as it is one of the 1st identified with the HVX virus before we knew about it. But because there is a legitimate series of H.`Lunar' hostas that are generally tissue cultured sports of H.`August Moon' the `Lunacy' seemed appropriate as the characteristics of the leaf appeared "loony". NOT AVAILABLE ANYWHERE! according to "Where's Waldo?" the Plant Finder 2016! This is beyond "looney!" Walter even came back to reclaim his "invention"(really just a find in the garden)July, 2016! I called him about it and his "memory did not serve him well"? Oh, where have the "Good Times" gone?! J.J. what did you say?
