KI NAKAFU OTOME

Hosta `Ki Nakafu Otome', purple, 10-20", June-July. MINI. Low mound of gold-centered, green-margined foliage; leaf center slowly turns green during the season; mound size 5"high by 20"wide with leaves 3"long by 2"wide; leaf blade ovate shape with a rounded base; average substance. If you start getting all these Kii Hime's and Kifukurens, Kiki Kiki's, then you'll start noticing the slight and sometimes miniscule leaf differences. This one gives itself away with the rounded base. No, not like going-around-the-bases. Rather sitting down on your base while having a cold one and admiring your mini hosta garden! This is a one of the better ones in structure as the mounds lay low to the ground, not so upright. Mushroom like.(2003 M.Zilis). Also know as H.venusta `Aureonebulosa', H.venusta `Kinakafu'.
