v.FROSTED VIOLET

Heuchera x `Frosted Violet', light pink, 30", May-July. Violet-purple leaves with light silver overlay of veins. More sun, the lighter the color. More shade the more purple the color. Rounded, lobed, new leaves emerge pink-purple in spring, but gradually age to silvery-purple to plum-purple with darker veining. Leaves take on a fluorescent appearance when sun strikes the leaf-surface hairs. Mounds are 12"high by 24"wide, evergreen.
