Heuchera villosa, white, 16-28", June-August. Evergreen mounds to 24"wide and 10"high. Leaves are lightly hairy(that what villosa means). With the species the color of the leaves may be tinted with bronze or purple, mostly on their emergence then aging to the lime green we are familiar with. Oak or maple shaped leaves 4-6"wide. Lax stems of creamy bell flowers cover the plant late sprng into summer. Prefers shade to part sun with average moisture. This species is NATIVE from New York to Georgia and west to Arkansas and Missouri. Indigenous to rocky open woods, moist shaded rocky ledges and crevices of rocky outcrops. Deer tolerant. A great choice for heat and humidity tolerance. Will grow under a Black Walnut Tree. zone4-9
