THIRD WITCH(os!)

Hemerocallis `Third Witch', black-red with slightly darker eye above a green throat, 44", 6"flower, June-July. Spider! 3 branches, 20 buds, extended bloom(16hrs), diploid, and dormant. This is as black as a Black Widow Spider! If this is the 3rd witch I wonder what the first two look like? I think I may know? This is a vigorous grower and rainfast! You know what happened to the witch when she got doused with water? Well this 3rd one ain't havin' none of it! She's a "Daylily" reminder that "Black is Back"! Happy Halloween! (Margo Reed, 2003)
