Hemerocallis `August Fire', cherry-red with prominent white midrib and green throat, tall bud builder, 59", 6-9"flower!, July. Unusual form, cascade, EXTENTENDED bloom!, diploid, and dormant. The tepals are ruffled and creped. Long bloom season, strong scapes that hold in a storm. 2 branches with at least 20 buds each! Sunfast up to 97 degrees! Wheew, that's FIRE in AUGUST!!.
