DANCES WITH GIRAFFES(OS!)

Hemerocallis `Dances With Giraffes', gold yellow with rose-peach blush eye, green throat, 60"!, 8"flower!!, winter dormant, diploid. July-August. HUMONGEOUS flowers cascade and curl down from tall scapes. Registered as an unusual form/cascade. Difficult to set a pod, but the pollen is good(for you daylily "nuts" that like to try and make you're own! This has good "stuff!")(2005, Margo Reed) 2019 Region 3(that's us in PA), Lambert/Webster Award. Annual Award to recognize the most outstanding unusual form daylily and to honor the memories of two hybridizers who pioneered in breeding UFs(Unusual Forms). Along with this 1st Place Award it also took 6th Place as MOST Popular!
