Heliopsis helianthoides var.scabra `Sunburst', yellow, 24-30", August-October. A "spittin'" replica of H.`Lorraine Sunshine'(pp#10690)but without the patent. This form comes true from seed, introduced by Sahin Seeds. Leaves are heavily veined white early thru midseason. During its flowering the variegation subsides and slowly appears green by summer's end. A true NATIVE for our wandering nectar warriors. Grows in all soils. Great cut flower as well. Sun. zone 5-9 "False Sunflower"
