CAREX BEATLEMANIA

Carex caryophyllea `Beatlemania', small clumps of arching, mopped narrow grass-like, dark green leaves with deep yellow-gold margins. This is a strong and reliable grower. This will do well on roof top gardens, borders, rock gardens, slopes, rock walls. A great filler for containers. Evergreen. Small brown spikelits in May-June. Mounds are 6"high and 12"wide. Part-shade to shade, average to moist soils. zones5-9 "Mop-headed Sedge". This is a variegated form of C.`The Beatles' having a narrow yellow margin to the leaves. NATIVE to North Eastern US. Light shade to full sun.
