Buddleia lindleyana, lavender, 72", August-September. Shiny leaves with pendulous flowers up to 24" long! A clone selected from 30ft specimans in the garden of one Francis Marion Galloway from Bolivia, NC., where they have been established since the 1860's! A lightly stoliniferous form. Ideally tuck this along a fence or one on each side of those things you walk through (they usually grow roses around 'em?).The long cascading flowers are surreal. Butterflys love them! We only have one or two hummingbirds on the farm and guess what?,they hover around this! Don't let the height scare you, this is resilient to pruning if needed. Sun, average soil. zones 5-10.
