Fragaria vesca `White Delight', white flowers become WHITE mini strawberries, 8-10", June-July. This is the white wonder of the gardening world! Green, three-part leaves with small runners may look ornamental until the small flowers appear in flurries and all of a sudden dangling with mini white strawberries!. They're sweet. You'll want to eat them like raisens! In today's self-sustaining/green gardens these are a must! A great thing about this form is it's bird resistent(they're color blind!yahoo!). You can use this as an understory that pays off. Put a couple on your cereal, ice-cream, fruit bowl and it'll come alive! Sun or dappled shade, average, well-drained soils.
