Aconitum henryi `Sparks', purple-blue, 36-48", July-August. Hooded flowers appear in delphinium-like flower spikes only more loose and airy between the flowers. Glossy green leaves. A staple for the late shade garden in moist areas. Excellent cut flowers. Word of caution: Aconitums are poisonous so to be safe wash your hands after handling them especially if you come in contact with the tuber.Shade to part-shade, moist well-drained soil.
