Greek Mountain Tea

Sideritis syriaca. Dried leaves and flowers are used to make tea. Found on rocky slopes at elevations OVER 3,200ft. They have adapted to survive with little water and little soil, so if your keeps dying in a pot of soil...eh? The Greek shepherds used these plants to make brewed tea while tending their flocks high in the hills. Grey, wooly leaves, yellow flowers along a stem 12-18"long.
