ROSEMARY PORTUGUESE PINK

Rosemarinus officinalis `Pink Portuguese', mauve-pink, 28-36". This is very upright and during February sets its new growth for the coming year. Noticeably pink! I would even say vibrant! Its sister R.`Portuguese Red' has a dark pink kinda blotch and deeper lavender purple on the lip. Grow these side by side and see them flower you will see a hotter pink more that of Lavender `Kew Red' on `Portuguese Pink'. Confused? `Portuguese Pink' is a good strong pink. Much darker than the `roseas' that are out there and brighter pink than R.`Marjorica'. Robust habit, and equal culinary value as any rosemary because out of bloom you can't just sit there and watch it! Use rosemary in everything you make! Meats, chickens, fish, pork, soups, gravy, sauces, salads, bread, and especially in CHILI! Narrow needled. Upright. Good flavor.
