Petroselinum crispum `Cilician'. "Flat Leaf Sweet Italian" form. Special, very RARE, even in "small circles of friends"! Ya gotta "collect" the seed! From Adaptive Seeds, Sweet Home, Oregon we have a parsley from a MEDIEVEL Kingdom(even a few friends who re-enact it!) The "kingdom" in what is currently Syria and Turkey(not from Thanksgiving), brought to us(North America) via(thru) Cyprus. MORE FERNY leaf gives it lots more flavor. Named from the province the seed originates, Cilicia who has had a long history of struggle and has been fought over by the Greeks, Armenians, Syrians, Romans, and Turks.
