MOJITO

Mentha villosa. This is the TRUE MOJITO mint! Our stock is original stock from Cuba! Do not be had by imitations! Similar in appearance to Kentucky Colonel but with a flavor unique to itself and the famous MOJITO cocktail(that's a drink made with RUM!). Scent and flavor are agreeable warm, not pungent or overly sweet as is the case with spearmints and others. The subtle flavor makes you want more than just one...drink. The MOJITO recipe: 1-2 jigger of RUM, 1tsp pure cane sugar, 1/2lime juiced, 2 sprigs(a sprig is 3 sets of leaves including the tip set)of MOJITO mint. With a mortor and pestal, grind these together, then add the rum. Stir a bit, pour in a 16oz glass full of ice. Pour in club soda(we use Seagrams Ginger Ale)and your addicted!
