Lavandula intermedia `Edelweiss', WHITE!, 24-30", June-July. Excellent gray-silver foliage. A habit that reminiscent of L.`Grosso' (36" wide mounds, long stems/wands) so much so that some onlookers say "Hey, is that a white flowering `Grosso'?) A hint of blue along the calyxes(flower buds leads to this assumption). Also referred to as L.`Caty Blanc' in the trade although the TRUE `Caty Blanc' is set apart in that the calyxes(flower buds, remember) have a TRUE PINK color instead of the "tint" of blue. Very hardy to zone 6 and upwards to zone 5.
