Lavandula x lanata (chaytoriae)`Jennifer', light purple, rich violet, 20-30", July-September. A hybrid of L.lanata (chaytoriae) (Woolly Lavender). Very large, very silver, and felty-like foliage. The whole plant commands attention! Woolly-like leaves(texture to the feel), tall, robust, long spikes, very silver. "Woolly Lavender" zone6(protected from winter elements, wind, ice, excess snow) Very identifiable during bloom and felty leaves. The flower spikes are one if not the longest, up to 21" longs, and at their tips are a mere 2" of flower! How tall is a vase? 18"! This makes the PERFECT Lavender for cut flower then sachets? It has a handle to hold! The flowers, even though only 2" long, are 1" fat! (thick) and then some. So we're making up for everything in a Lavender that we wish for! Stem, cut, culinary, and aroma!
