BASIL RED CRIMSON

Ocimum basilicum `Red Crimson', is the 1st GENOVESE type RED LEAFED BASIL that solves a couple of issues with others. They either have "off-types" or even sometimes revert to green?...oh and as with the heirloom` Red Rubin'?, weak stems and fail to stay upright(sound familiar?) THIS RED GENOVESE solves both those "issues". Super uniform in color, shape, and thickness of leaves/flavor/aroma. Seems to me this is my favorite along with `Rosie'. They've both garnered a Blue Ribbon in our local Grange Fair. This is a MUST USE in cooking! NOT JUST AS A GARNISH! Throw(mix) it in every salad you make for EVERYONE! Family, guests, SuperBowls!
