BASIL THUNDERSTRUCK(Rutgers DMR)

Ocimum `Rutgers Thunderstruck' DMR. Sweet basil preferred for field production; medium-sized, slightly ruffled(Lettuce Leaf look) with bright green color. DMR stands for Downy Milew Resistant. From Rutgers and released through Van Drunen Farms come these 4 varieties 98% resistant to the downfall of many people's basils in the garden from downy mildew and fusarium wilt. This one is especially bred with the garden in mind (field production). Sweet basil primarily for field production; medium-sized, slightly ruffled leaf with bright green color.
