This species is native to Missouri and occurs in moist soils in rich woodlands, thickets or along streams, sloughs or other bodies of water. Daisy-like flowers with reflexed(drooping), yellow rays and dome-like, green center disks. Pinnate, deeply-lobed, light green leaves. The best of the best for butterflies, gold finches.
