Pycnanthemum incanum `Stowe Away', light lavender, 36", June-August. From the "keen to be seen" eyes of the world's greatest "plant geek" and friend with a follower, comes this selection with much finer leaves than the species and clumping habit not found often with the species. After selective seeding and choosing, Tony Avent, Plant Delights Nursery, is sharing this find while he was visiting Doug Ruhren in 2004, former curator of the Daniel Stow Botanic garden in NC.
