Primula denticulata, mixed lavenders, whites, roses, all with a yellow eye, 6-15", February-April. Thick, clump forming with compact heads in a globe shape atop fleshy stems. Winter buds are surrounded by large, leathery scales(leaves). Oblong wrinkly leaves can grow out to 12"long and have toothed margins. In the mix, the color varies from deep purple or blue, to pink or white, and most common, pinkish-purple/lilac, with a yellowish eye.
