Primula x pubescens, clusters of blue, purple, red-violet, yellow and cream, 6-8", March-May. Stout stems held atop a low rosette of leathery leaves. Fragrant and are well suited for cut flowers bouquets. Part-shade. Deer, rabbit resistant. Attracts the first butterflies of the season. This variety is considered the most carefree of the primroses. Paddle-shaped leaves attract interest all year long. Great for rock gardens, containers, and woodland edges. zone4
