odoratum var.pluriflorum JINGUJI

Poltgonatum odoratum var. pluriflorum `Jinguji', white bell-like flowers hang along the stems, 20", in May. Incredible standout with reddish-pink stems, well-rounded leaves and exceptionally larger fruit than others. Brought to the U.S. in 2003 by Dan Hinkley of then Herronswood Nursery and a piece gifted to us today, 28 Sep 2019 by a fellow "plant maniac" Andrew DeGothseir. If we scored a bit of a better grade in geography we would be able to tell you there is a nursery in Japan named Jinguji Nursery from whom discovered this selection.
