p.RED RIDING HOOD

Phlox paniculata `Red Riding Hood', red,22-28", June-August. Nice! This is about as red as I've seen. All those other ones like `Super Red', Big Bomb Red, Shoot me Red, Red-eye, etc. just don't quite have that red ingredient you look for when thinking red.Like chili! You can add all the ingredients in the world but if you didn't put "chili powder"in it, it ain't Chili!Or paprika, or cummin, or oregano, or....?Oh the phlox!Get it?, this is red! Nice! The color doesn't fade either. You can actually think of the tale with the big bad wolf and this is as red as Miss Riding Hood's bonnet wrap! Sun, average soil.z3-9.
