Anise Hyssop Blue

Agastache foeniculum, blue, 30", June-October. A NATIVE herb. Aromatic leaves smell like licorice. The leaves and flowers are edible and can be used to sweeten tea or flavor sugar or quickbreads and muffins. Add the leaves to fruit salads. Steep 2 teaspoons fresh dried leaves in a mug to make a tea. It is a key pollinator plant attracting butterflies, hummingbirds, a goldfinch favorite, and bees.
